The Newman Center: Companions on the Journey

The Newman Center is the home of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Minnesota, Morris, a small public liberal arts university located on the prairie in west central Minnesota. Serving the Catholic and ecumenical faith of UMM students since 1961, the Center strives to be an exciting and stimulating mecca within a respected secular environment of higher education.

At the Newman Center, you will find a community of welcome, nurture, growth and mirth. Through our extensive events and activities programming, you will experience ample opportunity for spiritual development, leadership enhancement, social interaction and meaningful service. Our intent is to provide a wholistic atmosphere designed to address the many challenges of academic and relational life.
