Preparation
Here are some resources to help you find what to bring to your meeting with your advisor:
Dates/Times:
Registration Time - View your specific registration date and time (on Student One Stop)
Registration Time Chart - A quick glance at when you can register
Registration Dates (General) - See when registration is scheduled to happen
Registration Deadlines - When you can add/drop classes, change grading basis, etc.
Holds:
Holds - Check for any holds that might stop you from registering (on Student One Stop)
ADVISORS: Release your advisees' holds
Requirements:
APAS - Report of your degree requirements and classes (on Student One Stop)
Catalog for UMM - View degree requirements, course descriptions, policies, etc.
Degree Requirements (in Catalog) - Requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree
General Education - List of courses that meet general education requirements
Graduation Planner - Tool for planning courses to take for future terms
Forms/Worksheets:
Annual Planning Worksheet - Plan multiple terms of classes
Registration Form - Used when instructor consent is needed/not able to register online
Registration Worksheet - Use this to map out times of your classes to prevent overlap
Find Classes:
Web Class Schedule - List of classes offered each term by discipline
PDF Class Schedule - Printable version of classes offered each term by discipline
Class Search - Choose parameters to limit the search for classes, including gen ed
Directed Studies - Link to the Dean's Office site; form to design your own class/research
Internships - Supervised employment/field experience related to your degree
Continuing Education Classes - Specialty classes offered at night, online, in summer, etc.
Courses Recommended for Freshmen - A printable selection of classes ideal for freshmen
Service Learning Classes - Find classes that have a service learning component
Study Abroad Programs - Take classes in a foreign country!
Multi-I Program - Take classes for a semester on another U of MN campus
Availability:
Section Status - See how many seats are open in each class
Register for Classes on the Student One Stop
Here you will find the Web Registration System and be able to view/print your Enrollment Summary. Also, you will be able to update your Health Insurance info, view your Registration Time, Holds, get on the Wait List, access your APAS Report, etc.
