Dear Mr. Poulter:

This May I will complete my Bachelor of Arts degree in music at the University of Minnesota, Morris and am interested in any positions that you may have in your instrumental or vocal music program beginning in the fall, 2005.

My qualifications are summarized on the enclosed resume. I am presently student teaching elementary and junior high school instrumental music at Lincoln Elementary School and Washington Junior High School in Bemidji, Minnesota. Although my student teaching experience is primarily concentrated in grades four through eight, I have had exposure to and would enjoy teaching instrumental music in grades four through twelve. I would also welcome the opportunity to work with marching bands.
