Ask A Librarian is a reference service offered by Briggs Library during regular Library Reference Hours. Priority is given to UMM students, faculty, staff and West Central Minnesota residents.

Note: When the library is closed or when a librarian is not available feel free to use AskMN, a statewide reference service that provides answers to a variety of research and information questions.

E-Mail   E-mail your question and we will respond within one business day, usually less.

Instant message with librarians via your IM client or just use Meebo. 

Send a text messaage to the library's AIM IM account by typing "265010" in the "To:". In the "Text:" area type "askbriggs:". Type your message and then hit "Send".  

Call the reference desk at (320) 589-6176.  

The reference desk is located on the main floor of Briggs Library near the public computers. A librarian would be glad to assist you.
